Karen Jean Jensen's Obituary
Karen Jean “Kay J.” Seymour Jensen, 81, of Morrison, Illinois, passed away Sunday at the Alverno, Clinton. Services will be held 10:30AM Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM to 7:30PM Thursday at the Camanche Chapel. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler, Tayler, Allen, Kaarina, Jennifer and Aiden Jensen. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting snellzornig.com.
Karen was born May 1, 1941 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Roy P. and DeMerle (Anson) Seymour. Karen married Ronald Jensen May 25, 1958 at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Clinton.
Karen was employed as a waitress at Valley Oaks and Rastrelli’s for many years. She also farmed with her husband her entire adult life.
Survivors include her husband Ronald Jensen of Morrison, IL; sons, Terry Allen Jensen of Albany, IL and Timothy (Yvonne) Jensen of Fulton, IL; grandchildren, Jennifer (Nicole), Kaarina, Allen (Samantha), Tyler (Theresa Andrews) and Tayler; great grandchildren, Aiden, Eva, Freyja, Malachi, Brady, Asher and Caden; sisters, Patricia (Gene) May of Camanche, IA and Diana Holton of Evansville, IN and brother, Roy Seymour of Camanche, IA.
Karen was preceded in death by her son Tracy; parents; sister and brother-in-law, Royanne and Joe Stevens, brother, Bob Seymour and sister-in-law, Sheri Seymour.
Memorials may be made to the Camanche or Morrison Fire Departments.
