Karen Geronzin's Obituary
Karen Geronzin, 73, of Folletts, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, June 12, 2023.
There will be no services or visitation. The Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Karen Gee was born on September 8, 1949 in Camanche, the daughter of James and Elaine (Griebel) Gee. She was a graduate of Clinton High School.
Karen was a homemaker; after the kids were raised she worked at Cargil as a field inspector and lab technician. She was also a lab tech at Agri King. She was very proud of her garden at her home and was an avid bird watcher; especially feeding hummingbirds. She loved her dog, Butters, and also spending time with her best friend Sue Long.
Karen is survived by her three children: Shannon (Eric) Skiff of Clinton, William (Holly) Geronzin of Nashville, Tennessee, and James Geronzin of Clinton; three grandchildren: Christian, Alex, and Kole; two sisters: Michelle (Rick) Allison of California, and Jamie (Bill) Combs of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister: Linda Judd.
