Karen S. Fahlbeck-Frank's Obituary
Karen S. Fahlbeck-Frank 53, of Camanche, Iowa, passed away, Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics – Iowa City, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Shaffton Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Dan Kampe, Kyle Kampe, Andrew Kampe, Joe Fahlbeck, Mitch Godsey, Mikey Savochka, and Paul Hirsch. Honorary pallbearers will be Carolyn Weets, Shawn Felts, Karla Grant, Buffy Willis, Trisha Krughel, Corinna Waidelich and Karen Peters. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.
Karen Sue Fahlbeck was born on December 12, 1966 in Clinton, the daughter of John “Jack” and Mary Jo (Sharp) Fahlbeck, Jr. She was a 1985 graduate of Camanche High School. She was a bartender at various bars, worked at DM Services, Data Diminsions, Swiss Colony, and Johnson Manufacturing.
Karen attended Gateway Faith Fellowship, loved shooting pool and playing in a dart league. Loved going to pool tournaments and was a state champion. She especially oved spending time with her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Karen is survived by her son: Damien (fiancé Emily Evans) Fahlbeck of Camanche, Damien’s father: Nick Schaley; her brother: Kenny (Linda) Fahlbeck of Camanche, two sisters: Kay (Gary) Kampe of Camanche, and Kim (Wayne) Godsey of Low Moor; many nieces and nephews; and her uncle: Joe Callahan of Camanche. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents.
