Julie A. Cook's Obituary
Julie A. Cook, 70, of Clinton passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center- Clinton.
Memorial Services will take place 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Julie Ann Smith was born March 20, 1948, the daughter of Lorrin E. and Norma L. (Hansen) Smith. She married Stephen Kramer on March 21, 1964 of which she had her three children with; they divorced and she spent the better part of 20 years with the love of her life, David Dean.
She was a hard worker, she worked as a supervisor at K-Mart for many years while her children were small, she worked in real estate and she was a bar owner. She loved time spent with her family and friends and enjoyed spending time outdoors in the sun.
Julie is survived by her companion David Dean of Clinton; three daughters: Jacquie (Ed) Rachel of Clearwater Beach, Florida, Lynnette (Mike) Rogers of Tarpon Springs, Florida and LeAnne (Mike) Wallace of Palm Harbor, Florida; six grandchildren: Nicole, Corey, Audrey, Summer, Nathan and Ryan; three great grandchildren: Jaxen, Jace and Mya; one brother: Leo (Sheila) Smith of Manchester, Iowa; two dogs that she loved so much Cocoa and Dezi; and her bird Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Larry and Lyle Smith, and her beloved Dog Lucy.
