Juleanne Alyce Parker's Obituary
Juleanne A. Parker, 86, of Clinton, passed away, Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Alverno.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Elvira Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandsons and great-great grandson. Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Wednesday at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Juleanne Alyce Lueders was born on September 11, 1931, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Elmer and Alberta (Voss) Lueders. She was a 1949 graduate of Elvira High School. She married Vernon “Russ” Parker on October 5, 1952 at Elvira Zion Lutheran Church, he died January 22, 2003.
Juleanne was a homemaker and worked at Nielsens Clearing House for several years. She enjoyed traveling especially to Colorado to see the mountains. She loved spending time outdoors working in her garden, canning, and playing cards. She was a member of Elvira Zion Lutheran Church.
Juleanne is survived by two sons: Dan (Molli) Parker of Clinton, Douglas (Cathy) Parker of Sabula; three daughters: Dawn Parker of Camanche, Denise (Donald) Bockman of Redding, California, and Dana (Larry) Goodwin of Camanche; 11 grandchildren: Robert Parker, Clint Till, Tiffany Till, Nicole Collins, Stephen Pecchio, Jr., Christopher Parker, Sam Parker, Ben Parker, Sheri Bailey, Sgt. Larry Goodwin, Jr., and Alexander Goodwin, 13 great-grandchildren: Nicholas Parker, Olivia Parker, Owen Parker, Dominic Pecchio, Yazmin Collins, Gianni Collins, Nick Bailey, Nathan Bailey, Kooper Bailey, Landry Goodwin, Jaelen Boysen, Jaxon Boysen, Ruby Boysen, two great-great grandchildren: Dominic Pecchio, II, and Emreigh Parker; and her sister Judy Jackson of Palm Desert, California. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, her sister: Jonelle Cannell, and her dog; Dakota.
Memorials can be made to the family to be divided among various organizations.
