Judy Ward's Obituary
Judy Ward, 48, of Clinton, died Monday, October 29, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be Friday, November 2, 2012, from 9:00-11:00am, at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Services will follow the visitation at Rose Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Dan Sullivan, Charlie Eversen, Matt Soible, Mike Carr, Clayton Lutton, and Deven Kock. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be West Mode, Jordan Kane, and Beau Connely.
Judith Diane Steen Ward was born on February 5, 1964 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Fred Steen and Sue Widner Steen. She attended the Fulton and Albany Schools and then to college. Her lifelong dream was to become a teacher as she loved children and was a very caring and giving person. She enjoyed the outdoors and collecting Indian artifacts.
She married Mike Ward and had a son, Joseph. They later divorced.
She is survived by her son: Joseph (Dorie) Ward of Clinton; mother and father: Sue and Lowell Marsh of Camanche; the love of her life: Richard Clark of Clinton; her sisters: Linda (Harold) Teagarden of Princeton, and Laura (Roger) Sikkema of Fulton; step-brothers: Jeff Marsh of Camanche and Allen Marsh of Davenport; her grandchildren: Luna, Aura, Vada, Osiris, Anna, Tyler, Zeik, Avalee, and Caleb; and her step-children: Ivy Nicole, Katelyn Joy, Christian Rennae, and Richard Everett.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Steen, Her grandparents, Max and Myrle Widner, Sr., and Chris and Zola Steen.
