Judy A. Roberts' Obituary
Judy Roberts, 69, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 after a brave battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family at her home.
Judith Ann Kemp was born on October 14, 1949 in Savanna, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Merle (Smith) Kemp. She was a 1967 graduate of Savanna High School. She married the love of her life, Ric Roberts, on August 15, 1981 in Clinton, Iowa.
Judy loved her family, her schnauzers, and riding her Harley with her husband. And yes, it had to be a Harley. She was a homemaker and also worked at IPSCO as a shipping clerk before retiring in 2012, but her favorite role was being a grandmother. She had gratitude for the simple things in life and enjoyed traveling around the country to visit her kids. Her hugs felt like home and she made everyone feel like family. Above all, she will be remembered for her love and kindness.
Judy is survived by her husband: Ric of Fulton; six children: Kim (Steve) Michaels of Everett, Washington, Matthew (Tammy) Harvey of Clinton, Emily Smith of Clinton, Jeremy (Sadie) Roberts of Oceanside, California, Jessica Roberts of Clinton, and Katherine (Adam) Joens of Savanna, Illinois; 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and her brother: Pat (Debbie) Kemp of Savanna, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Dennis.
Per her request, there will be no services or visitation. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
