Judith A. Carson's Obituary
Judith A. Carson, 68, of Clinton, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at Mercy North, Clinton. Services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 PM Wednesday at the Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting www.snellzornig.com. Burial will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois.
Judith was born January 25, 1948 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Lyle and Juanita (Guile) Comstock. Judith married Stanley “Rex” Carson on December 4, 1982 in Davenport; he died March 9, 2009. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clinton, where she was very active and a former member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Davenport.
She had been employed at Walgreens for more than 35 years.
Survivors include her brother, Larry (Cheryl) Comstock of Reno, NV; sister, Linda (Larry) Honn of Camdenton, MO; brother, Dennis Comstock of Davenport, IA; special friend Mary Chandanais of Hillsdale, IL and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Hubbard, sister, Patricia Comstock and her parents.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
