Joyce Opheim's Obituary
Joyce E. Opheim, 72, of Clinton died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at home. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00am until the service hour at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the funeral services. Joyce Elaine Kelsey was born on January 25, 1938 in Clinton, the daughter of Clarence and Leone (Williams) Kelsey. She was a graduate of Clinton High School. She had been previously employed with Jim Walter Window Components, PFC, and Data Dimensions. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and playing video games. She is survived by four children: Kelly (James) Montgomery of Clinton, Kip (Ella) Opheim of Camanche, Mark (Lori) Opheim of Marion, IA, and Kristi (Mike) Nester of Savanna, IL; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one brother: Vernon (Veronica) Wagner of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be made to the family.
