Joyce Kay Martin's Obituary
Joyce K. Martin, 74, of Clinton, died Wednesday at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Chancy Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00-7:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Following the services the body will be cremated.
Joyce K. Martin was born on March 20, 1938 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Felix and Alma (Hagen) Martin. She was a 1956 graduate of Clinton High School. She went on to attend and graduate from St. Catherine’s in St. Paul Minnesota.
Joyce was a program administrator with Towers Perrin Consulting Firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota and a assistant to the research manager at Pillsbury in Minneapolis.
Joyce was a lifetime member of Chancy Lutheran Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts and especially sewing.
Joyce is survived by one brother: David Martin of Clinton; and two nephews: Alan Martin and Andy Hansen, three great nieces and many cousins.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, a niece, and two sisters.
Memorials can be made to Chancy Lutheran Church.
