The greatest thing I learned from my Grandpa. No matter what he endured in life, no matter how much was thrown his way, he NEVER complained. He was still grateful for each and every moment spent with family and I will forever admire that about him. He taught me that no matter what life throws our way, there is still so much to be happy about. That time spent complaining or feeling sorry for yourself is time wasted. Time that we will never get back. I choose to see all of my future days for the blessings that they are, until the day that I see my Grandpa again. Whether you want to be happy or not, it is your choice. Choose happiness 💖

Grandma Royanne,

I'm sorry for your loss, you and Grandpa Joe were like two peas in a pot. The pain is there and will hurt for time to come, but remember all the happy times you had together. I remember when you had your green truck and we were visiting and the two of you would drive sitting side by side like the old days when people would go on there first date. And of course grandpa the person who could fix everything. Our hero camping when we called you from the desert on the proper use of the bathroom facilities. You both have been the best grandparents to our boys. Always remember we are here for you! Grandpa Joe was a warm gentle person who will truly be missed by many.

My heartfelt condolences to Brenda, Royanne, Greg, Mick, Lori and Lisa. So sorry I couldn’t make it for the service and to be with you guys in this tough time for you all! I had the pleasure of meeting all of you my trip to Camanche and you were all so gracious and made me feel so welcome. Great men have great families and that’s the case here it is honor to get to spend time with a great man and his great family. I feel truly blessed to have a life experience with you all and look forward to doing it again real soon. If there is anything I can do to help out please don’t hesitate to ask.
