Joseph "Joey" T. Hardison's Obituary
Joseph Thomas Hardison was born on August 24, 2000, in Clinton, Iowa the son of Joseph Allan and Gerry Ann (Edens) Hardison. He was a 2019 graduate of Camanche High School where he participated in football and track.
Joe was a 5th year apprentice with Local Union #25. He was a hard and dedicated worker and exceled in his trade. He was respected by all he worked with. Outside of his career as a welder, Joey's favorite job was working at Edens Construction with his uncle Bob and his cousins.
Joey thoroughly enjoyed time spent with family and friends. His family were his friends and his friends were his family. He had a gorgeous smile and an infectious laugh and shared those treasures with many. To know Joey was to love Joey.
He loved boating and beach vacations and was always up for an adventure. He loved the outdoors and most especially the family cabin
Joe is survived by his mother: Gerry (Scott Judd) Hardison of Clinton, his father: Joseph (Heather) Hardison of Camanche; his siblings: Morgan (Corey) Doyle of Camanche, and KayLee (Cody Parker) Hardison of Clinton; his nieces and nephews: Hunter, Alivia, Ellie, Ella, Kyson, Emery, and Laney; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Richard and Carol Edens, his paternal grandparents: Debbie Hardison and Thomas Hardison; his cousin: Nicole Nielsen, and his uncle: Scott Sperry.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am, Saturday, January 3, 2026 at the RiverChurch – Clinton. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00-7:00pm at the church. Serving as pallbearers will be Zack Leu, Mason Holstein, Carson Seeser, Quinten Schroeder, Andrew Edens, Zack Edens, Dodson Melchiori and Riley Melchiori.
