Joseph Frank Graves' Obituary
Joseph “Joe” Graves finished his journey of life and his brave battle with cancer on September 25, 2024. He fought a long hard battle with hope, his continuous great sense of humor and with the help of his loving family and friends.
Joe was born November 10, 1945 to Charles and Esther Graves in Clinton, Iowa.
He grew up learning to work hard, enjoy life and always being kind. Joe always had a silly joke or quote that made you laugh, smile or just shake your head. He enjoyed working in the yard, woodworking, gardening and fixing things. He was definitely a jack of many trades. He loved driving and showing his 1965 Chevy Impala but most of all loved his family and many friends.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Linda; children, Rhonda (Rod) Vogel; Ron (Kris) Hellweg, Jr.; Regina (Tom) Gorman and Beth (Craig) Eggert; 11 grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; seven brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at snellzornig.com. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hope Lodge, Iowa City.
