Joseph Dahl's Obituary
Joseph W. Dahl, 63, of Camanche died Sunday, October 25, 2009 at his home. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 30, 2009 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.
Joseph William Dahl was born on April 22, 1946 in Clinton, the son of William H. and Betty (Hall) Dahl. He was a graduate of Camanche High School and attended college at the University of Iowa.
He was employed with the Local 25 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union for 30 years. He loved the outdoors, fishing, and the Mississippi River.
He is survived by his longtime companion Sherrianna McKenrick of Camanche; his mother, Betty Brozo (Ray)of Clinton; 4 children: Brett (Jessica ) Dahl of Camanche, Nicole (Joe) Stratton of Fulton, IL, Joshua (Diane) Dahl of Camanche, and Erica Dahl of Dickinson, TX; 4 grandchildren: Lucas Dahl, Zachary, Noah, and Cael Stratton; and his brother Gerald Dahl of Davenport, IA.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Memorials may be made to the family.
