Joseph G. Boehmer, 63, of Fulton, Illinois, passed away, Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at his home.
A Mass will be celebrated at 9:00am, Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery – Sugar Creek. Joseph Gerard Boehmer was born on November 1, 1950 in Maquoketa, Iowa, the son of Lawrence and Emogene (Weimerskirch) Boehmer. He was a graduate of Elvira High School. He married Shirley Jensen on December 2, 1978 in Sugar Creek.
Joseph was a farmer and also worked at APAC/Focus, and Swiss Colony.
Joseph was a member of Prince of Peace Parish.
Joseph is survived by his wife: Shirley of Fulton; four sisters: Debbie, Gwen, Rhonda , and Jolene .
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother.
