Jonelle L. Hale, 62, of Clinton, died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at her home. There will be no services or visitation, the body has been cremated. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Jonelle Lynn Housenga was born on May 8, 1949 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Garrett and Mildred (Bradshaw) Housenga. She married Leon Hale on August 5, 1967 in Clinton; he died June 24, 2007. Jonelle was a 1967 graduate of Camanche High School. She was a homemaker. Jonelle is survived by four daughters: Dawn (Bill) Grimm of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Shannon (Mike Drevyanko) Hale of Clinton, Iowa, Leigh Hale of Clinton, Iowa, and Marla (Gary) Medendorp of Bettendorf, Iowa; 14 grandchildren, and her mother-in-law: Velora Hale of Clinton. Jonelle was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brothers and sisters.
