John N. Trumpeter's Obituary
John N. Trumpeter, 83, of Clinton passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 at the Alverno - Clinton.
John Nelson Trumpeter was born April 15, 1941 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, the son of John Horst and Frances Cunningham (Jackson) Trumpeter. He married Jone Young on January 23, 1970. John graduated high school from Mercersburg Academy. He attended the University of Pittsburg and the University of Arizona and earned a Bachelors Degree.
He worked as an instrument engineer at Chemplex, ADM and finally Compressor Controls where he travelled internationally. He finished his career at Ethanol Plants as a construction manager in Nebraska, South Dakota and Minnesota. He enjoyed being outside and was a Bee Keeper.
John is survived by his wife Jone of Clinton; sister Sally of Zelienople, Pennsylvania; nieces: Allysha (Andrew) and Jessica; great niece Brianna and great nephew Antonio. He was preceded in death by his parents and two step sisters.
