We had the privilege of meeting Dr. Ringdahl on a few occasions with our friends; Shelby, Sydney and Karson Ringdahl. One time was at an Iowa football game. He welcomed us and was fun to be around. We know he has touched many people's lives and he will be dearly missed by his friends and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Ringdahl through his son Dr. David Ringdahl. The first thing I noticed was how handsome and good natured he was. I then went on to see what a true gentleman he was in every way. That is a rare breed these days. And on some level I loved him for his caring and manners.
I know he will be greatly missed by his family. I especially want to be there for Dave as he helped me so much when my father died 6 years ago. I will be there for anything you need even if just to sit in silence and have a good cry.
I also wish to be available to Mrs. Ringdahl should she need any of my help in the medical department.
It sounds trite but really a truism that the only thing that lessens the pain is time.
I'll be thinking of all of you---he was so proud of his wonderful family!
John was my dentist, as well as my husband and daughter's. I went to him for over 25 years. He was a kind and caring individual. He made visiting the dentist a more pleasant experience. He always had a smile on his face. I was extremely sad the day he announced he would retire. It took me several years to find another dentist who was like him. I am sure he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Joan, Dave, Bruce and families...you all were truly blessed with a great husband, dad and grand father. It was a pleasure knowing John (even golfed with him. Lucky man!). He had an enjoyable and gentle personality... a very cool guy!
I went to high school with Dave. Dave's father John Ringdahl was a very kind and wonderful person. It has been many years since I've seen him but remember him as a great family person. He always had a nice word to say to friends of his sons whenever we came over to the house. He was also a great dentist. My parents went to him for years and always had such nice things to say about his way with people. Dr Ringdahl blessed and touched many people's lives. My prayers and condolences to his family.
