John Hemingway's Obituary
John L. Hemingway, 91, of Clinton died Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Mercy Living Center – South – Clinton.
Following his wishing there will be no services for John. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family with the cremation.
John was born January 19, 1926 in Wilcox, Nebraska. He married Nancy J. Sergeant in 1964. They had one son Bradley Alan (Kari) Hemingway of Rockledge, Florida and three grandchildren: Tyler, Alexis and Brody.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Paul Alan Hemingway of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
John was an amateur Radio Operator and active member of the Clinton Amateur Radio Club for many years. He enjoyed many hobbies including flying, photography and building computers.
He retired from Interstate Power Company in 1990 after 42 years of service.
