I had the chance to visit with John when I was home for our 55 class reunion. He was always positive and uplifting. I am glad I had the chance to be with him.

Jane and Family,
We were so saddened by the news of John. I will miss his huge hugs and even bigger laugh! He is probably teaching the Angels to toilet paper Heaven! Let's just hope he doesn't use his express method of lighting the toilet paper on fire to get it out of the trees! Because of the weather, we can't make it to the service today. Please know we are with you in spirit until we can deliver the hugs in person. Bagley will never be the same.
Love,
Brian, Christine, Hanah, BJ, and Kessa and family Corell
Jane and family, very saddened to hear of Johns passing. I have such good memories of all the times we shared especially through all those softball years.. Playing ball was fun, but was even more enjoyable when John was around with his easy going ways and big smile..He will be missed, but will always be remembered. Thinking of you and your family during this sad time.

Jane and family, John was such a special person. We all had such fun in our high school days. May God's love comfort you and your family. Barbie Z. Spealman
Jane and family, I am so very sorry to hear about John"s passing. I worked with John from 1978 till whenever he left Champion/Waldorf. He was so very nice to work with and we all had a lot of fun working together. I remember running into you and John up at the doctors office about 5 years ago. It was so nice to see both of you. Once again all my condolences. From Mary Korous living now with my son Steve and daughter-in-law Sue in Christiana TN.
Mrs. Frampton - I just read the sad news of John's passing in the QC Times. In 1973, John hired me to work with him at Champion Packaging. I was a 19 year old, newly married girl who had just moved to Clinton as that is where my husband was working. I remember John being such a kind and gentle man who was so happy to have his two young boys. I worked there with him until June, 1975, when we moved back to the Quad City area. We still return to Clinton occasionally just to remember our days there. We always drive by Champion and I remember those as enjoyable times working with John, Sandy, Darlene, and Ruth. I don't have any contact with any of those people, but I do remember them fondly. My sympathies to you, Todd, and Troy.
