Carol, Kristen, Jason, Steve and anyone else I may be missing . I was so sad to hear this. I met Joellen in 1975. Carol and I worked together and became close friends. Joellen was always smiling, soft spoken, and so, so sweet. She will be missed dearly. RIP my friend.
We are so sad to hear about JoEllens' passing. From all Carol has told us she fought a good fight. I didn't know her well but the times we spoke she was always so sweet. Our heart felt condolences go out to Carol and Kristin and families.

Jo Ellen will never be forgotten by me. So many years ago I lost a love, Jimmy, and she gave me a pair of Levi button fly pants she had embroidered on with a daisy like flower and a rainbow. They were his... I was so happy she gave them to me. Wore them out! I remember her coming home at Gateway Apartments and meeting her with her friends. I thought she was so cool. Carol and I had just become friends and meeting her family was like coming home. We all went to the beach at Malone Lake. She was always so gentle. Her drawing of Jesus laughing came along way before those you see now and it was so impressive to me. Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed.
