My thoughts and prayers are with all the family, especially Ross. I am sorry I cannot attend JoAnn's services. I came to know JoAnn at the Alverno where I was chaplain until retiring in October 2015. She was a woman of great faith who loved her Lord and talked to Jesus every day. Her faith and prayers she shared with me lifted me up. Her family was very important to her and I know she is looking out for them from heaven and pleased to be with Ray and Jesus. Ross, my office was very near your mom's room and because she talked loudly when speaking with you on the phone, I often overheard her giving you encouragements and calling you to trust in Jesus. Remember all those strong words of encouragement and that advice and hold them close to your heart. Her physical presence may be gone but her love and spirit are right there with you always.
