Joan M. Pinkston's Obituary
Joan M. Pinkston, 92, of Clinton, passed away, Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at The Vistas at Bettendorf.
Funeral Services will be 10:30am Monday, April 8, 2024, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30am to the service time Monday at the funeral home.
Joan M. Humphrey was born on January 5, 1932 in Clinton, the daughter of Lester and Margaret (Gladhill) Humphrey. She was a graduate of Clinton High School. She married Jack Pinkston on February 21, 1953 in Clinton; he passed away on August 1, 2001.
Joan was employed in the service department at A.C. Nielsen. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church – Clinton and a former member of the Riverside Presbyterian Church. She loved to bake, bowl, and her faith was very important to her. She most of all enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren.
Joan is survived by her sons: Keith (Susan) Pinkston of Clinton, and Neal (Susan) Pinkston of Clinton; four grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and six sisters.
Memorials can be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
