Joan and I worked together for many years, she was like a second Mom to me. She was a very special and caring person. I went to see her a few times when she was in Lisbon and we always enjoyed each others company. I know her family will miss her very much and she always had wonderful things to say about all of you. You were so important to her and she was so proud of all of her kids and grandkids. She missed Gene terribly so know she will be so happy to be reunited with him. My deepest sympathy, Sandy Hart

Such a beautiful lady inside and out. She and I both owned Hondas and would meet up for lunch and a fun visit when taking the cars in to Zimmerman's in Rock Island for service. I am so sorry for the loss of Joan to all her family and friends, but appreciative of the addition of another angel to heaven.
