Jay Naftzger
I am saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. Jerry was an important figure in my early life as coach of my little league baseball teams. I always felt nothing but kindness, patience and a genuine desire that we "play the game right" from Jerry. He treated us like ball players, never a little kids. I can still see him standing in the third base coaches box in his white tee shirt gesturing to hit away when I looked for a signal. Later on our whole family was grateful when Jerry and Cherie chose my father Dutch to work on the Henry home.
