Jeffrey L. Naftzger, 58, of Clinton passed away after a courageous battle with heart disease on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago with his wife by his side.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am, Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Jeffrey Lynn Naftzger was born July 30, 1964 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Diane Naftzger. He was a 1982 graduate of Clinton High School. He worked at Farm & Fleet in Clinton for 25 years. Jeff married Kristi Bark on September 24, 1993.
He was an excellent cook and his mother-in-law Geraldine loved his cooking. He won many awards playing pool, he was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Camanche.
Jeff is survived by his wife Kristi Naftzger of Clinton; mother and father: Diane and Sydney Johnson of Thomson, Illinois; maternal grandmother: Lois Naftzger of Clinton; two stepchildren: Brandon Webb of Clinton and Joseph Webb of Verril Beach, Florida; siblings: Mark Domer of Camanche, Sydney Johnson of Waterman, Illinois, Jason Johnson of Thomson, Illinois, Shelly Bousman of Lanark, Illinois and Amber Sanderson of Fulton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Naftzger.
