Jeannette Meyermann's Obituary
Jeannette Meyermann, 80, of Camanche, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Alverno- Clinton.
Funeral Services and visitation were privately held at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial was in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Jeannette Jorgensen was born August 14, 1935 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Svend and Elizabeth (Ray) Jorgensen. She was a 1953 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Raymond Meyermann on December 6, 1953 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Clinton, Iowa.
She worked in the Camanche Schools in many different capacities for 20 years. She was a lifelong resident of City of Camanche. She was a member of St. Marks Methodist Church in Camanche. Jeannette loved spending time with family, camping, and being on her patio.
In addition to her husband Raymond, Jeannette is survived by her four children: Kevin (Rhonda) Meyermann of Cordova, Illinois, Rick (Janice) Meyermann of Pace, Florida, Libby (Dan) Goodman of Morrison, Illinois; and Michele (Rich Harrison) Meyermann of Sioux City, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; one brother, Ray S. (Darla) Jorgensen of Clinton; one sister, Marilyn Ravis of Camanche; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
