Jeannette E. Arnold, 91, of Clinton, IA, died Monday, November 12, 2007 at the Alverno Health Care Facility, Clinton, IA. Services will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be at the Immanuel Lutheran Church on Wednesday November 14, 2007 from 12:30 PM until service time. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, in Clinton, IA.
Jeanette was born November 1, 1916, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Edward and Theodora Arnold. She was employed at the Clinton Herald for 24 years. She lived at the Alverno Health Care Facility since March of 2004, where she enjoyed the staff and made new friendships. Survivors include her sister, Eleanor Scaboo of Torrance, CA; two nephews, Robert Scaboo of Orange, CA; and Daniel Scaboo of Wilmington, CA; two nieces, Patricia Proctor of Garden Grove, CA; and Barbara Scaboo of Lomita, CA; three cousins, May Irene Hovda of Traverse City, MI; Marjorie Todd of Sebring, FL; and Marion Ganoe of Nipomo, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
