Jean L. Leonard, 82, of Clinton, IA, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the Alverno Health Care Facility. Visitation will be from 5PM to 7PM Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Services will be held at 11am Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Pretz, Jim Leu, Lance and Luke Eversoll and Jason and Chad Leu. Jean was born December 23, 1925 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Martin and Anna (Rasmussen) Claussen. She was a Lyon?s High School graduate. She married Arthur Leonard April 5, 1947 in Joliet, Illinois; he died April 29, 2002. Jean was employed as a Unit Leader at Nielsen's Clearing House for 23 years. Survivors include her 2 daughters, Laura (Terry) Pretz and Pam (James) Leu both of Clinton; Son, Brian (Julie) Leonard of LeClaire, IA; grandchildren, Jason (Carrie) Leu, Chad (Christy) Leu, Lance (Darcie) Eversoll, Luke and Ashley Eversoll, and Emma, James and Madeline Hurning; great-grandchildren, Sydney and Blake Leu, Zack and Ana Leu and Delaney Eversoll and her brother, Walter (Bonnie) Claussen of Clinton, IA; sisters, Roma Rost of Omaha, NE and Agneta Charvat of Clinton, IA.
