Jean Langrehr's Obituary
Jean (Arline) Langrehr, 75, of Camanche, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving children and granddaugter. Private Family Services were held on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Arline Jean (Meier) Christiansen was born on May 5, 1935 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Ernest and Maxine (Seidell) Christiansen. She married Clarence Langrehr on June 20, 1953; he later died July 14, 1972. She was a homemaker. She also was employed with the Camanche School District and Nielsen’s. She was a member of the Clinton Moose Lodge and St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. She enjoyed boating, fishing, vacationing in Florida, and giving her kids hell. She is survived by two sons: Jim (Marianne) Langrehr of Camanche and Terry (Mary) Langrehr of Camanche and her daughter: Gale (Steve Pete) Henry of Camanche; four granddaughters and four great-grandchildren with two more on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband. Memorials can be made to the family.
