Volunteered a lot with Arsh 2. Shared life weekly. My mom loved baking I pies. They shared names🙂 Janice loved to eat them! Now both Janice's can sit at the Lords table hug and enjoy pie!

she will be missed alot sorry for your loss
I got to visit L'Arche for my college alternative spring break in 2017. Every time we saw Janice she greeted me with the biggest hug and never failed to make me smile. We laughed and bonded over our shared name. Years later, I haven't forgotten how happy and joyful she was always. Will keep her family and friends in my prayers
Janice liked to be happy. One day I picked her up for an appointment and she had two different socks on. I said, “Janice, look you have two different socks on, how come?” Janice looked first at one foot and then at the other. She looked at me and said, “It’s a mystery.” And that ended that and she was happy. So to this day when my husband and I have something we can’t explain or don’t want to, we answer, “It’s a mystery.” Then we happily go on our way.
Prayers for the Arch and Janice’s family.

Janie was always a favorite student of mine.....quite a few years ago! A favorite memory is finding a dead bird in her desk....she found it outside during recess! My sympathy to you all.
