I first met Jan about a year ago when I moved in a couple houses down. She came right over and introduced herself, we swapped stories of our pets and she loved watching my Husky play in the back yard. She shared her love of animals and life and family with me from time to time. Jan would keep me in the loop regarding her upcoming surgery. I am deeply saddened by her passing. My last memory was about a week ago when I saw her outside pulling weeds gently as to not to overdo it. I will miss our conversations. Condolences to her family. Jan was a true blessing.

My first memory of Janice was in high school (Clinton) when she came to my front door one morning and asked me to walk with her to school. She had seen me at school and admired my clothes (which my mother made for me.) We typically walked together to school every morning after that first time. I also remember Janice always having her hair done up so nicely- so she was destined to be a hairdresser! We kept in touch all these years I will really miss my old friend and I know that many others will, too. My thoughts are with Ron and all of the family during this very difficult time.
I always found Jan to be a kind wonderful person. As a fellow hairdresser she always showed me friendship. She will be sadly missed.
