Janice Neisslie's Obituary
Janice M. Neisslie, 71, of Camanche, passed away, Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the home of her son in Rock Island.
A Funeral Mass will be 11:00am, Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the Church of the Visitation. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00-6:00pm at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory.
Janice Marie Hoffman was born on April 3, 1953 in Clinton, the daughter of Phillip and Mary Lou (Anthony) Hoffman. She was a 1971 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Robert Neisslie on October 24, 2003; he recently passed away on April 1, 2023.
Janice was currently the secretary at the First Methodist Church in Clinton.. She formerly worked at various banks in Clinton and as a clerk at the Clinton County Treasurers office.
Janice was a member of the Catholic Church of the Visitation. She loved to scrapbook, cross-stitch, watching NFL football and Caitlin Clark. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Janice is survived by her son: Clint (Dawn Zirkelbach) Guidebeck of Rock Island; three grandchildren: Ashley Council, Sarah Guidebeck, and Payton Nicol; her sister: Carol (Michael) Johnson of Marshalltown, Iowa, and her brother: Robert (Bonnie) Hoffman of Evergreen, Colorado. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter: Michele.
Memorials can be made to the Church of the Visitation.
