Janice Kunavich's Obituary
Janice L. Kunavich, 75, of Clinton, died Saturday, December 17, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at her home. Private Family services will be held at Springdale Cemetery on Monday, December 19, 2011. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Janice Lavoy Bumann was born on February 24, 1936 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Marion and Lillian (Brandenburg) Bumann. She married Adolph “Oddie” Kunavich on March 8, 1958 in Dubuque; he later died on November 9, 2003. She was employed as a coupon sorter at Nielsen’s for many years. Janice is survived by two daughters: Pamela (Brian) Flynn of Clinton; Jody Wessels of Clinton; one son: Ronald (Linnell) Kunavich of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and two grandsons: Shawn McDermott and Trevor Mahaffey; and one sister: Donna Grinnall of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, three sisters, and one brother. Memorials can be made to the family.
