Janet T. Cavanaugh's Obituary
Janet T. Cavanaugh, 81, of Clinton, passed away, Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Alverno.
A Funeral Mass will be 10:30am, Monday, May 4, 2015 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be at the St. Mary’s Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Cavanaugh, Mitch McChurch, Connor McChurch, Jeff Keister, Kevin Keister, and Bill Greenwalt. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tim Keister and Danny Keister. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00pm to 8:00 pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory.
Janet Theresa Morgan was born on October 3, 1933 in Clinton, the daughter of Frederick and Eileen (Gallagher) Morgan. She was a 1951 graduate of St. Mary’s High School.
Janet married David Cavanaugh on June 29, 1957 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clinton.
Janet was a homemaker she also worked as a office clerk for Northwestern Bell.
Janet was an avid reader and a member of Prince of Peace Parish. She was also a member of PEO Chapter JW.
Janet is survived by her husband: David of Clinton; her children: Dean Cavanaugh of Clinton, Deborah (Dan) McChurch of Lebanon, Tennessee, Craig (Jennifer) Cavanaugh of Kennewick, Washington, and Brent (Lori) Cavanaugh of Clinton; 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson: Jack McChurch, and several nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Jackie Keister and Rebecca Morgan; her grandson: Tyler McChurch, four aunts, and three uncles.
Memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
