Burlingame Family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My mother, Bea Reed sends her sympathies as well. You dad, Jim, was the best man at my parents' wedding, I know the men were friends in high school and in the service. Dad used to tell stories about their "adventures." When I got married, we discovered that Janet and my mother-in-law both did geneology research and also discovered that the Burlingame family was directly related to the Burlingham family (my husband's father's mother's maiden name). They actually several pages of research that were exactly the same.
