Janelle F. Pridemore's Obituary
Janelle Pridemore , 73, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 4, 1952, Janelle spent her life caring for others with unmatched compassion. As a CMA and caregiver, she gave her heart to everyone she served. Caring for people wasn’t just what she did — it was who she was. She lifted spirits, held hands, and loved deeply.
She was the center of her family — devoted, proud, and fiercely loving. No gathering was complete without her cooking, her laughter, and her presence. You always felt at home when she was nearby, and no one — truly no one — cooked like her.
Sassy, spirited, and full of life, she lived boldly and loved fully. Listening to music was her release and her joy. From attending countless concerts, cheering on family members performing in bands, to dancing whenever she got the chance — music flowed through her life. Her absolute favorite moments were watching her husband sing karaoke and being on a dance floor surrounded by energy and love. She rallied to the very end, still soaking in music and letting it carry her.
A die-hard Denver Broncos fan, she cheered with passion and loyalty. Whether dancing, singing along to her favorite songs, bowling with friends, or cracking a quick witty comeback, she did everything with heart and humor.
Her legacy is love, laughter, strength, and just the right amount of sass. She leaves behind a family who will forever feel her warmth and a world brighter because she was here.
She is survived by her husband Lawrence Pridemore of Clinton; children: Lance (Beth) Pridemore of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Paul (Johanna) Pridemore of Bettendorf, Iowa and Tammy (Adam Place) Pridemore; grandchildren: Brandon, Taylor, Spencer, Makayla, Grace, Olivia, Isabelle, Addison, Damian, Allyson and Tyler; great grandchildren: Maven, Roman, Malcolm and Tyson; siblings: Winnie (Mike) Jones of Fulton and Janice (Mike) Haan of Camanche, Iowa; and many treasured family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Denny Lewis, Roger Lewis, Willard Lewis and Loren Lewis.
Memorial Services will be held at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 11:00 am, visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor her by loving fiercely, dancing when you can, and playing a song that makes you feel alive — just as she always did.
