Jane Lee Rice's Obituary
Jane Lee Rice, 73, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at the Alverno, Clinton. Cremation will take place at Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory, Clinton. Graveside services will be held 10:30AM Monday, July 28, 2025 at Springdale Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at Snellzornig.com.
Jane was born Auguust 20, 1951 in Geneseo, IL, the daughter of Orra and Helen Fay (Poerschman) Rice. Jane was a graduate of Clinton High School and Scott Community College with her AA degree in Interior Design.
Jane had been employed at Nielsen’s Clearing House as a stat checker, Kohl’s and at the Clinton Middle School as a paraeducator.
She enjoyed traveling in Europe, France, Mexico and California.
Survivors include her brother, Gary (Cynthia Fox) Rice of Santa Rosa, CA and sister-in-law Gwen Rice of St Louis, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin brother Jim.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
