Jim was a great friend. Loved golfing with him and sharing the laughs after a round. Always loved our trips to Myrtle and golf weekends. You will be missed Bucket! Pete and Steph Jones
I counted Jim as my best friends when I was around the age of 15 but we lost contact after High School. I have so many great memories of him then. His family took me with them on a family vacation once to Wisconsin and he help me get my first job as a Bell Boy at the Lafayette Hotel where he worked for a short time. I will never forget him or the many happy times we had together. I always meant to recontact him again especially in recent times however I never did. I feel so sorry about that now. I knew Jim while in high school. I was in Vietnam in 1968, just outside Bien Hoa. I was hitching a ride into the village. A jeep pulls up to offer me a ride. The driver was Jim Honeywell. We looked at each other and were both blown away. I did not meet up with him again. I will always remember that day. Rest in Peace brother.
