Jacqueline "Jackie" Larsen's Obituary
Jacqueline “Jackie” Larsen, 73, of Camanche, IA, died Sunday, April 10th, 2016, at the Alverno, Clinton. Services will be held at 1PM, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Catholic Church of the Visitation, Camanche. The Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements. Visitation will be from 11AM until the service hour at the Church of the Visitation. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Jackie was born May 12, 1942, in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of John William and Loretta (Meder) Burke. She was a 1960 graduate of St. Mary’s High School. Jackie Burke married Robert Lawrence Larsen February 12, 1962 in Winterhaven, CA; he died October 30, 2005.
Jackie had been employed at Eagles Grocery Store and at Wal-Mart.
She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Visitation, Camanche and was a longtime avid bowler.
Survivors include her sister, Patricia (James) Birely of Camanche and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and parents.
Memorials may be made to the Camanche Fire Department.
