Jacob C. Job's Obituary
Jacob C. Job, 86, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at his home – Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Monday, July 30, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church – Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery with Military Honors being conducted by the Clinton AMVETS. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 am until the service hour at the church. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is honored to serve the Job family.
Jacob Christian Job was born April 2, 1932 in Hosmer, South Dakota, the son of John and Rosina (Geist) Job. He served his country from 1953 to 1955 in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married Arlene Pfeifle on June 19, 1955 in Hosmer, South Dakota.
Jack worked for Allied Steel for 15 years and for Ralston Purina for 24 years retiring in 1994. He enjoyed many things in life but none more than spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Clinton.
He is survived by his loving wife Arlene Job of Clinton; two children: Joel Job of Post Falls, Idaho and Sherri (Dann) Stuhlman of Clinton; six grandchildren: Jonah (Naomi) Job of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Jessica (Matt) Maser of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Jared Job of Post Falls, Idaho, Jeanna Job of Post Falls, Idaho, Kari (Emerson) Taylor of Clinton and Jenna (Judson) Sanders of Clinton; 7 great grandchildren: Damian, Angalina, Juniper, Ezekiel, Thaddeus, Gwendylynn, and Vivyan; three sisters: Clara Maisch, Betty Gutjahr and Kathy Tinkey; and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
