My deepest sympathy goes out to you three, Joe, David & Kenny. Your mom was a wonderful and strong person and she raised you well. Know that I will be with you in spirit on Wednesday, as I am not able to attend.
I have so many fond memories of Aunt Irene. She never missed sending me a birthday and Christmas presents. She loved to tell stories of my dad, Jim Sr, that many didn't know about except for Irene. Another fond memory was her writing me letters even though she was legally blind. I will forever remember her as a favorite Aunt. Diana and my prayers are with the Costello family. We take comfort in knowing she is now with Bob, Danny, brother Jim, sister Ruth, and parents John & Mollie.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You are in my prayers. I always enjoyed your mother and we had many wonderful visits from the time I was a youngster. She and I always enjoyed talks about many things. Irene always got a "kick" out of me because I was so "onery"... she was always smiling and gave me lots of laughs.
Irene was a wonderful woman who raised wonderful children. She will be greatly missed.
We are thinking of all of you in your time of loss. I loved the spunk your mom had and have many great memories of spending time with you and your Mom on the farm rock hunting, horseback riding, (I wasnt very good at that) and checking your muskrat traps. I also recall several great fishing trips with all of you at Fox Lake - so many good memories when we were much younger. I hold on to those memories so they are not far from my thoughts as they make me smile, may your Moms spirit always be near you, and illuminate the many great memories and love she brought to you. You and your Mom are in our prayers.
