Hubert H. Wise's Obituary
Hubert H. Wise, 99, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at MercyOne - Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the service time at the funeral home with a Rose Croix starting the service. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Hubert Henry Wise was born December 21, 1923 in Preston, Iowa, the son of Ira and Mable (Prusia) Wise. He was a 1941 graduate of Sabula High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1944 to 1946. He married Marilyn McFadden on May 1, 1949; she preceded him in death in 2017. Hubert worked as a Production Supervisor for DuPont for 37 years; retiring in 1985.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Clinton, Iowa, he enjoyed being outside and like the entire Wise family was a farmer at heart.
Hubert is survived by his two children: Gerald Wise of Franklin, Wisconsin and Rhonda Kay Wise of Arden, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Masonic Center in Clinton.
