Helen Rosenquist's Obituary
Helen F. Rosenquist, 95, of Clinton, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Eagle Point Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. Private Graveside Services will be Friday at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Helen Frances Rosenquist was born November 14, 1914 to Walter and Sierra Nevada (Smith) Rush in Boone, Iowa. She was a 1933 graduate of Clinton High School. She attended Scovill Business College and later worked as a legal secretary for Bill Williams for 18 years. Helen married O.F. Walker in Clinton, he died in 1967. In 1968 she moved to San Diego, California where she married Hjalmar Rosenquist in 1972. She lived in San Diego for 34 years. Hjalmar died in 1982. Helen was an Eastern Star and a member of other Masonic Lodges. She also was a member of the Corinthian Chapter OES, honored ladies of Al-Bahr Shrine, and the First Congregational Church in Clinton. Helen is survived by cousins. Helen is preceded in death by her parents and her two husbands. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice.
