Helen Meyer's Obituary
Helen A. Meyer, 85, of Clinton, died Thursday, January 29, 2009 at the Eagle Point Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton. Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Monday, February 2, 2009 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-4:00pm at the funeral home. Helen Anna Larson was born on July 22, 1923 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of August and Alvina (Schlemer) Larson. She married Harry Meyer on February 12, 1950 in Elvira, Iowa, he later died on September 25, 1989. Helen was a graduate of Elvira High School. She was a homemaker. Helen is survived by a son: Richard Dawson of Clinton; four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; and one sister; Dorothy Blanchard. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son: Larry. Memorials can be made to the family.
