Helen B. Mensinger, 92, of Camanche, passed away Saturday at Prairie Hills – Clinton.

Helen Belle Hagerman was born on April 28, 1926 in Sterling, Illinois the daughter of Charles and Ilah (Hammer) Hagerman. She married Henry Mensinger on October 17, 1946 at the Baptist Church Parsonage in Camanche; he died August 5, 2011.
Helen was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church – Camanche, and enjoyed bowling. She also loved her cat, Fluff and dog, Ginger.
Helen is survived by her three brothers: Donald (Helen) Hagerman of Parker, Colorado, Richard Hagerman of St. Charles, Illinois, and Arlyn (Mary) Sayers of Birmingham, Alabama, one sister: Judy (John) Goos of Camanche, Iowa; her sister-in-law: Berniece Bolte of Camanche; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers: Marvin and Jerry Hagerman, and two sisters: Joan McDonnell and Nancy Guest.
Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church in Camanche.
