Helen Lorraine Hicks' Obituary
Helen Lorraine Hicks passed away in Cape Coral, Florida on May 4, 2025, living a full life to age 99. Mom was born and lived her young adult life in Clinton, Iowa. In 1943, she married our Dad, Charlie Hicks, and from that union 2 daughters were born, Sharon and Judith. Together, Mom and Dad ran the Klinger Paint Store in Downtown Clinton. Upon retirement they moved to Florida to enjoy their golden years. Mom is preceeded by our Dad Charlie, her brothers Harry and Vernon, and her great-grandson Tucker. She is survived by daughters Sharon Peters and Judy Frazier, 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home on Friday, May 16 at 12:00pm with a viewing on Thursday, May 15 from 4-7pm. The burial will follow the service at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
