Helen F Dodge's Obituary
Helen F. Dodge, 90, of Clinton, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at her home. Services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 1PM at the Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 PM Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Burt Melvin, James Hastings, Mike Motroni, George Bird, Josh McDonnell, Joseph Brewer and Jeremiah Brewer.

Helen was born February 16, 1925 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of LaFayette and Laura (Robinson) Smith. She married Daniel L. Dodge in Clinton, Iowa on December 2, 1946; he died April 1, 1980.
Helen was a homemaker and had also been employed at Pinney Printing, the Clinton Garment Company and Van Allen’s as an elevator operator. She was also an active volunteer with the Clinton Schools.
She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by her daughters, Durene Quicksall of Camanche, IA and Donna Dodge of Davenport; son, Durwin Dodge of Clinton; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and sisters, Dora Pitts of Clinton and Laura “Babe” Broaderson of Muscatine.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald, her parents, her brother, Vernon Smith and sister, Johanna Hutchins
