My husband and I just wanted to convey our deepest sympathy to the family and friends who have lost their beloved Hazel. We have also lost ones very dear to us and know the pain experienced at such times. At 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 it brings out that the "God of all comfort" comforts us so that we might be able to help comfort others. That is why we wanted to write, to share the comfort that we have received from our Heavenly Father through the hopes and promises we read about in God's Word the Bible. For example in John 5:28,29 we read Christ Jesus saying, "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." He demonstrated his God-given ability to resurrect those who had passed away on three separate occasions while here on earth. (Luke 7:11-17; Luke 8:40-56; John 11:11-44) We also have the promise at Revelation 21:3,4 and Isaiah 25:8 that soon "death will be no more" that God will "swallow up death forever". How wonderful that will be. We sincerely hope that a review of these accounts and others will bring you a true source of encouragement and comfort. Please continue to look to the love and support of those around you and to our Heavenly Father who promises that "he himself will sustain you." - Psalm 55:22
Sincerely,
Mike and Becky
