Hazel Marie Bell, 74, of DeWitt, passed away, Friday, February 20, 2015 at her home.
A Memorial Gathering will be Friday, February 27, 2015 from 4:00-7:00pm The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory.
Hazel Marie Clark was born on February 4, 1941 in Garnettsville, Kentucky, the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Vowels) Clark.
She worked for the VNA as a nurse’s aide taking care of the handicapped and the elderly.
She enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren, horseback riding and camping.
She is survived by her children: Donna (Joseph) Mackin of Grand Mound, Ricky Short of DeWitt, Mike (Janice) Short of Marana, Arizona, and Cordia Short of San Antonio, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, two brothers: Bo Clark of Burlington, Iowa, Ernie Kitchen of Morning Sun, Iowa, and a sister: Theresa (Wayne) Reeves, of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, a grandson, and a great-granddaughter.
